Rules & Regulations

Indian Mountain atv park

General Park Rules

  • All guests 19 and older must sign a waiver and have it on file. Go to our website and click the tab that says Sign Waiver. 
  • Parents or guardians of guests 18 & under must sign their waivers at Indian Mountain ATV Park or complete a notarized waiver found on Indian Mountain's website.
  • No street legal vehicles are permitted to ride on the trails unless they have a complete tube chassis and tires 37 inches or smaller. This includes but is not limited to Jeeps, Samurai's, etc. 
  • No firearms or fireworks allowed on the property.
  • Hunting is prohibited on the property.
  • We are a pet friendly park. Please keep your animals leashed or kenneled. They are welcome to ride with you but please take safety precautions to keep your pet and other riders safe.
  • Do not litter; use trash receptacles provided. Litter laws are strictly enforced. Anyone caught littering will be ejected from the Park.
  • Indian Mountain ATV Park retains the right to eject violators of these rules and regulations without a refund. Repeat offenders may be banned from Indian Mountain ATV Park indefinitely.
  • All guests must have their ID with them when checking in. Indian Mountain ATV Park staff is authorized to check IDs for any reason. The failure to provide your ID will result in non-admittance to the park.
  • Parking passes will be issued for vehicles and must be displayed in the front windshield. Indian Mountain ATV Park reserves the right have violators towed at vehicle owner’s expense.
  • No alcoholic beverages allowed on trails. No glass bottles of any kind allowed. 
  • ABSOLUTELY NO open containers in off road vehicles at any point. Indian Mountain ATV Park reserves the right to search coolers while on trails and riding areas. 
  • Do not remove or destroy trees, shrubs, plants or animals. We want them to remain for everyone to enjoy. Tree saver straps must be used.
  • A quiet zone will be enforced every Sunday from 10am-12:30pm CST surrounding Salem Baptist Church. Please be respectful of their service.
  • Commercial filming or photography at Indian Mountain ATV Park is explicitly prohibited unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon with written approval prior to the occurrence.
  • Indian Mountain ATV Park is neither liable nor responsible for any/all damage, loss, or theft of any personal property or for injury to the guest.

Riding Rules

  • All Off-Road Vehicle drivers and riders should follow the manufacturer’s safe operating procedures. Please be sure that your OHV has the appropriate equipment needed to operate on the rough terrain in the park. Everyone must wear their seat belt/safety harness at all times while in the vehicle.
  • All ATV and Motorcycle drivers as well as passengers are required to wear safety helmets, closed-toe shoes, and protective gear including, but not limited to, those items listed by the manufacturer and the ATV Safety Institute are strongly recommended.
  • No doubling on ATVs not designed for doubling. Passengers in side by sides must ride in seats. No passengers in cargo areas.
  • Riding is permitted until 12am on Friday and Saturday with daily passes. All vehicle lights must be working and on after dark. Riders under 16 years of age cannot drive after dusk. Please be cautious for everyone’s safety. 
  • Speed limit is 15 mph on all roads. Operating a vehicle carelessly, recklessly or in a manner that endangers anyone or any property is prohibited. Operator will be subject to ejection from the park. 
  • Stay on trails and within park boundaries. Boundaries are marked with orange paint. Do not cross over boundary lines, guests caught crossing over boundaries will be ejected from Indian Mountain ATV Park property. 
  • All visitors must wear the wristbands given at the park office to prove authorized admittance.

                          -  Drivers and passengers are required to wear an Armband. Bands will be alternated daily.

                      -  The SXS band goes on the left bar of the machine's roll cage. This shows the machine is registered.

                                 -  The ATV/Motorcycle machine band goes in the middle of the handle bars to show the device is registered.

  • Maximum tire size is 37 inches (as noted on the tire sidewall). Any vehicle with tires larger than 37 inches will not be allowed to enter the park. 
  • Creeks, streams, and stream beds will be avoided where possible. Stay on marked trails, cross only at marked crossings. Slow speed to avoid creating any erosion to the waterways. Tread lightly.
  • No riding up and down water channels. We value our waterways not only for our sake, but for our neighbors. 

Camping Rules

  • Please contain campfires in a ring or rocks and fully extinguish fire before leaving. Do not burn pallets. 
  • All vehicles as well as campers and RVs must have their camping pass visibly displayed at all times in the window closest to the door. Indian Mountain ATV Park reserves the right to have your vehicle towed if the camping pass is not visibly displayed. 
  • No more than 2 vehicles per campsite. Keep your vehicle within your campsite area. Do not block other campsites. 
  • Campground quiet time is from 12am – 6:30am. Idle speeds and no radio in designated camping areas during this time. Please be respectful.

Fishing and Water Rules

  • Fishers must have their pass present at all times while fishing.
  • Fish caught in the lake, ponds, or creeks are to be released back into the waterway. 
  • Indian Mountain ATV Park will not be held liable for any accidents or injuries regarding waterways.
